An outstanding triumph for our organic wines at The Drinks Business Prosecco Masters 2022!
A trio of medals for our three Prosecco DOC sparkling wines at the British competition The Drinks Business - Prosecco Masters 2022: another outstanding triumph branded Pizzolato.
The BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD medals were awarded respectively to our Spumante Prosecco DOC Extra Dry, to the Spumante Prosecco DOC Brut, and to the Spumante Prosecco DOC Rosé Brut: international awards among the most important in Wine Business.
The Drinks Business master competition, organized by The Global Masters, is a high-level competition based purely on the style and price of wines, without being influenced by their geographical origin. The best sommeliers are called upon each year to judge wines from each country, awarding the best with bronze, silver and gold medals, and, exceptionally, the title of Master.
GOLD medal for our Spumante Prosecco Rosé Brut
Winning the GOLD category, however, was our unmistakable Spumante Prosecco Rosé Brut, a winning cross between the aromatic Glera grapes (90 percent) and the finesse of Pinot Noir (10 percent). Made with the Charmat method about two months long, this Rosé was awarded for its intense bouquet of white flowers, apple and pear typical of Glera combined with notes of red fruits. Velvety and fresh, the Rosé holds excellent and balanced acidity and is one of the most awarded wines in the last two years!
SILVER medal for our Spumante Prosecco DOC Brut. Only Glera grapes are used for Spumante Prosecco DOC Brut as well: our Organic and Vegan wine is distinguished by its drinkable character, excellent for convivial occasions. Excellent with appetizers and light dishes, this Prosecco Brut with its fine and persistent perlage also pairs well with vegan sushi or sashimi.
BRONZE medal for our Prosecco Prosecco DOC Extra Dry sparkling wine
Made with only Glera grapes, ours is a certified Organic and Vegan Prosecco with a fresh, delicate and aromatic taste. Straw yellow with greenish highlights, this Prosecco is reminiscent of Renetta apples. It is suitable for both tasty aperitifs and rich buffets.
Happy and proud to be able to share with all of you these important milestones that enhance the quality of organic wine in the world!
