We are proud to support Villorba Women's Football, which will play in the C series from next season!
Passion, sacrifice and love for the game are the values that our winery and Villorba Calcio have shared for a very long time, a friendship and mutual support that began with the 2007/2008 season, since Settimo Pizzolato became president of the soccer club.
"Villorba Calcio is an excellence in the area: it boasts more than 350 registered players and as many as 15 active formations: from the Piccoli Amici 2012-2013 to the first teams, the soccer club is the local reference point for children, youth and adults, a real training and aggregation hub." - Settimo Pizzolato
It is with pride that we will continue to support Villorba Football again this year; but this will be a season worthy of note of merit: the women's team, in its sixth year, won promotion to SERIES C!
The team consists of 30 female students, 1 professional coach, 1 assistant coach, 1 athletic trainer and 1 masseur, all supported by super president Sabrina Rodelli, as well as also the export manager of the Pizzolato company itself.
"The girls are talented and, thanks to their hard work and constant preparation last season, they were able to achieve this prestigious promotion-this is not an end point but rather a starting point. We will give it our all again this year, working hard and being known for the team with firm values that we are." - Sabrina Rodelli.
The girls are also charged up and ready for this new season and the opportunities - but also the responsibilities - that come with it.
In this regard, the captain of the Villorba Calcio Femminile team states:
"The excitement of winning the C series is still well in our hearts. We are so ready to face this new challenge with strength and tenacity. We will give our best to make sure that this is just the beginning of many more sporting and personal satisfactions!"
