We have published our first Sustainability Report certified according to GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards. It is a document that marks an important step: for the first time, we are not just stopping at what happens inside the winery, but expanding our gaze to the entire value chain.
Along with direct emissions (Scope 1 and 2), we have also begun to measure a portion of indirect emissions (Scope 3), such as transportation, business travel, and home-to-work travel by our employees. This is the first step toward more comprehensive reporting, which will also involve our suppliers and partners over the next two years.
"Measuring is the first step to real change. We don't want to use sustainability as a communication lever, but as a shared responsibility, to have goals that are as concrete and tangible as our commitment to it." - Sabrina Rodelli, sustainability manager and board member
The data that tell the story of our commitment
Our first certified Sustainability Report is not limited to the environmental part, but returns a comprehensive view of sustainability, based on hard data and measurable goals.
1. It is not a starting point, but the certification of a path
Since 1991 we have been producing organic wine, and in 2022 we became a Benefit Corporation.
This balance sheet represents the natural evolution of a journey that began over thirty years ago.
2. Scope 3 immediately reported
We have already reported over 441 tons of CO₂ related to transportation and logistics.
The goal is to complete Scope 3 within two years.
3. People's well-being is also accounted for with measurable data
- 480 hours of training provided
- 331 days of parental leave with 100% return
- Zero serious injuries
- No wage disparity
4. Each project has a measurable goal
- Photovoltaic system revamp: from 60 to 104 kW by 2025
- 10 data loggers for energy monitoring
- Efficiency >97% in wastewater treatment
- Membership in recycling projects such as Cycle4Green
5. A conscious supply chain is part of the strategy
We engaged 259 suppliers with questionnaires, training and tools to measure environmental impact.
Because sustainability cannot just be internal-it is a team effort.

A compass for the future
"After decades of certified organic, we felt the need to provide ourselves with a strategic compass, not just a report," comments Settimo Pizzolato, founder and president. " This report is a tool to guide our decisions in the coming years, especially at a time when the market is changing, the climate is changing, and with it the responsibility of those who produce.
At a time when the word "sustainability" is in danger of losing its meaning, we continue to give it substance. With numbers, projects and a long-term vision.
