New labels from the line without added sulfites are now available: a perfect combination of art and wine
The LIBELLULA line completes its metamorphosis by changing its guise.
Four organic wines that since 2007 have seen different traits of this small but important creature pose, in each restyling, the same concept: naturalness.
The "LIBELLULA" line is a historic line of wines for our winery that tells of the courage to have followed among the first, now more than 15 years ago, the path of wine production without the use of added sulfites. The creation of these wines, in fact, requires complex and delicate processing and continuous R&D and technological innovations to ensure a final result that maintains the original characteristics of the grape varieties of origin and allows those who drink them to rediscover in the glass the simple and genuine aromas and flavors of wines of yesteryear.
THE CONCEPT: "BEING A DRAGONFLY"
The new labels of the LIBELLULA line will tell the metamorphosis of four extravagant protagonists who want to be symbols of naturalness. The special graphics of the new labels also recall Italian fashion and art by using the collage technique and taking inspiration from the famous and eccentric artist Arcimboldo. Just as the collage unites different elements creating harmony, similarly the new labels represent human beings becoming and/or identifying themselves as dragonflies living in harmony with the environment without overpowering it but merging with it.
Organic and sulfite-free
THE ORGANIC AND SULFITE-FREE WINES OF THE "DRAGONFLY" LINE
The "LIBELLULA" line is composed of four certified organic and vegan wines made without the use of added sulfites: a Prosecco DOC Spumante organic Brut and three organic red wines Merlot, Cabernet and Rosso Convento.
Four organic wines that fully interpret our company philosophy characterized by the desire to respect the environment and eliminate the use of chemicals, a challenge that we carry on every day with satisfaction and pride. The grapes for our organic wines without added sulfites are harvested strictly by hand, scrupulously selecting the best healthy and uncontaminated bunches that will go to make up the four organic wines in the line:
- Prosecco DOC Organic Brut sparkling wine without added sulfites,
- Organic Merlot IGT Veneto No Added Sulfites,
- Organic Cabernet IGT Veneto No Added Sulfites,
- "Rosso Convento," red wine IGT Veneto Organic No Added Sulfites.

Wine as Work of Art
CANVASES, LABELS THAT BECOME WORKS OF ART
The new labels carry several allegorical meanings all descriptive of the wine they dress.
- OPERA "PROSECCO": The Organic Prosecco DOC Without Added Sulfites is represented by a Dame, an emblem of the wine's very sophistication.
The flowers that make up the headband of the hairstyle evoke the floral notes of the sparkling wine, while the refined strand of pearls on the head of the Dame alludes to its fine and delicate perlage.
Finally, the light and bright tones of the label evoke its straw-colored and brilliant hues. - OPERA "MERLOT": A bright green parrot represents the Merlot Without Added Sulfites. This animal, known for its curious and sociable disposition, evokes the characteristics of the wine: young, with a balanced taste and characterized by delicate hints of red berry fruit, Merlot is perfect for the most convivial moments.
- OPERA "CABERNET": The figure of the knight, chosen for the Cabernet canvas without added sulfites, symbolizes the elegant taste of this wine. Its ruby red color is also interpreted in the label through rust-colored brushstrokes.
- OPERA "RED CONVENT": "In the work of the Rosso Convento appears emblematic of the fusion of man and dragonfly, a blend of Merlot and Cabernet that results in a full, lively and fruity wine. The violet hues of the canvas represent the color of the red fruits of the wine itself."
THE COLLAGE TECHNIQUE
The perfect harmony between Man and Nature is also celebrated by the collage technique chosen for the striking new graphics. Just like collage, which combines different elements creating harmony, similarly the new labels represent human beings living in harmony with the environment, without overpowering it, but merging with it. A simple, yet at the same time revolutionary technique that is a spokesman for the courage with which, more than 15 years ago, we embarked on the road of wine production without the use of added sulfites.
THE ARTIST.
"My goal is to find the most incongruous things, whether it's plants, birds, vintage tape recorders, armadillos, Renaissance dresses or costumes in the style of the 1970s, and combine them in the way I like best, contrary to everything that is usual and already seen."
Alena Nezhentseva is an artist living in the Netherlands. The contaminated background allows her to bring different inputs and new knowledge to her art.
